Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Romagna wines during the “Passi e parole di vino” event, returning to Mercato Saraceno on April 12th and 13th, 2025. This unique experience caters to wine enthusiasts and those who appreciate leisurely exploration of the picturesque landscape.
Saturday, April 12th, features a masterclass led by Francesco Falcone, organized by AIS Romagna, focusing on the distinctive Famoso grape variety. This session will delve into the nuances of Famoso wine, contrasting its unique character with other Italian and French wines that share its delicate profile.
Sunday, April 13th, offers a full day of activities. A self-guided tour, facilitated by a detailed map available at the Welcome Center (located in the parking area of the Scuola Media, Via Enrico Fermi), will lead you through six prestigious Mercato Saraceno wineries: Cantina Braschi, Tenuta Casali, Castello Montesasso, Tenuta Santa Lucia, Podere Vertaglia, and Podere Monte Paderno. Explore the vineyards on foot or by e-bike, enjoying wine tastings paired with regional specialties at each location. Shuttles will be provided to more distant vineyards. The Welcome Center will sell tasting tickets and commemorative glasses, which can also be purchased individually at each winery. Food trucks and vendors offering local delicacies will enhance the experience, alongside opportunities for informal gatherings, storytelling, and even foraging for wild herbs.
Pack a blanket and backpack for a relaxing picnic amidst the vineyards. Pre-purchase your tasting tickets online or at the Welcome Center on the day of the event. This sensory journey invites you to savor the aromas and flavors, while admiring the breathtaking views, promising an unforgettable experience that engages all your senses.
