BOF International Street Food Festival: A Culinary Journey Through Italy

Postponed due to inclement weather from March 21st to 23rd, 2025. The highly anticipated BOF International Street Food Festival, celebrating its continued success following numerous events across Italy in 2024, will now delight food lovers in Piazza Farini from March 14th to 16th. This year’s festival promises a delightful array of culinary experiences featuring the finest food trucks from across the Italian peninsula, creating a vibrant atmosphere of delicious tastes and family-friendly entertainment. The event maintains its winning formula, focusing on traditional Italian cuisine served from food trucks, complemented by a diverse entertainment program.

The festival’s heart beats in Russi, a charming town in the Romagna region, where visitors can indulge in a delectable journey through Italy’s culinary landscape. Free admission and municipal patronage guarantee a welcoming and accessible experience. Expect a wide spectrum of flavors, from classic Italian fare like gnocco fritto with cured meats to spicy Mexican burritos. Southern Italian specialties such as arrosticini, Pugliese bombette, octopus sandwiches, Sicilian cannoli, panelle, and arancini, will also be available. More adventurous palates can explore hearty stracotto, Angus burgers, and even Caribbean delicacies.

Evening hours commence at 6 PM daily, expanding to midday on Saturdays and Sundays. Beyond the food, Russi offers a lively atmosphere filled with market stalls, amusement rides, and captivating live music performances. The festival kicks off on March 14th at 8:30 PM with the electrifying sounds of Whisky Wives, an all-female band showcasing the best of 80s and 90s hard rock and glam. The energy continues on March 15th with a Bon Scott AC/DC tribute band, setting the stage for the summer concert at Imola’s Autodromo. Family fun takes center stage on Sunday, March 16th, starting at 11:30 AM with the captivating Billo Circus, followed by a refined rock and blues performance by Giorgia & D’Altri Slow Train at 8 PM.
