Cesena Wellness & Food Experience: A Holistic Festival

From November 1st to 3rd, 2019, the Cesena Fairgrounds hosted the fourth annual Wellness Food Festival, a comprehensive celebration of well-being. Over 150 exhibitors showcased a wide array of products and services encompassing holistic wellness, from natural cosmetics and herbal remedies to healthy, organic, and vegan foods, presenting the latest industry innovations. A significant focus was placed on nutrition, with a dedicated area featuring vegan, organic, and international cuisine. Attendees enjoyed delectable and nutritious dishes and captivating culinary demonstrations led by internationally renowned chefs. Free yoga, wellness sessions, and fitness activities were offered throughout the event, complemented by a comprehensive program of health and wellness lectures.

Organized by Romagna Fiere, in collaboration with the Wellness Valley/Wellness Foundation, the festival was structured into distinct sections: a Wellness zone with free classes and sessions promoting physical fitness; a YogaFest Romagna featuring leading Italian yoga schools and studios; and a Food area boasting global delicacies, captivating cooking shows presented by renowned chef Ivan Bacchilega (known for “La Prova del Cuoco”), and a vibrant food blogger contest. A tranquil Holistic Lounge provided a relaxing respite, while a dedicated area hosted high-quality conferences, workshops, and seminars focused on health awareness and education.

The Wellness Food Festival also incorporated “Naturalmente in Fiera,” a nature-themed exhibition showcasing the beauty of plants, fruits, and animals. Children enjoyed a dedicated kids’ area with workshops, a play area, and games, along with a novel Pet Therapy zone featuring donkeys as interactive companions. Ticket prices were €7 for adults, €5 for concessions, and free for children under 12. The festival took place at Cesena Fiera, Via Dismano, 3845 – Pievesestina di Cesena, with opening hours: Friday 2:30 PM – 9:00 PM, Saturday 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM, and Sunday 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
