Rimini Beach BBQ Showdown: A National Championship

From June 14th to 16th, 2019, the Rivazzurra Gardens on Viale Regina Margherita in Rimini, adjacent to beach establishments 127-128, hosted the fourth annual Three Tower’s Barbecue Fight. This National BBQ Championship competition, a collaboration between the Rivazzurra Tourist Committee and MiramareJoy, marked a significant milestone as the first beachfront BBQ contest in Italy. The three-day event, commencing at 7 PM on Friday and concluding at 4 PM on Sunday, featured a BBQ party dinner with various food stands. Patrons enjoyed authentic American barbecue, including pulled pork and smoked sausage sandwiches, alongside regional specialties like Abruzzo-style arrosticini and Romagna crostini.
